It was unusual to see Tomy Drissi qualify seventh on the Trans-Am grid, but that wasn't going to stop him or the RSR squad from giving it their all at Road Atlanta today in the season finale of the 2010 SCCA Pro Racing Trans-Am Series.

It would seem fitting to end the 2010 SCCA Pro Racing Trans-Am Season how it all began for Tomy Drissi, in victory circle. That will be the goal as Drissi and the RSR squad prepare for the season finale at Road Atlanta, October 1.

Tomy Drissi and the RSR team put up another fight this weekend at Virginia International Raceway for Round 9 of the SCCA Pro Racing Trans-Am Series, but a mishap cost him his fifth podium of the season and he went on to salvage a sixth-place finish.

The RSR Trans-Am team will be back in action with Tomy Drissi looking to redeem his runner-up position in last weekend’s race at Brainerd International Raceway for the victory this weekend in Round 9 of the SCCA Pro Racing Trans-Am Series in Virginia.

It may have been Labor Day Weekend - a time for a little R&R, but there was no holiday for Tomy Drissi and the RSR team as they worked hard to return to the SCCA Pro Racing Trans-Am Series podium at Brainerd International Raceway.

RSR's Tomy Drissi again had a fast car this weekend when taking the green flag in the inaugural SCCA Pro Racing Trans-Am Series Harrah's Autobahn Grand Prix presented by Mazda, but an early mechanical failure took him out of the chase for the win.

 Typically when someone says they are heading to the Country Club, one assumes to golf. This weekend, Tomy Drissi and his RSR Racing squad will be heading to the Autobahn Country Club Joliet which is a race course, instead of a golf course, but either way, he will be looking to hit a hole-in-one in Round 6 of the 2010 SCCA Pro Racing Trans-Am Series.

It was a dominating weekend for RSR’s Tomy Drissi in Round 6 of the SCCA Pro Racing Trans-Am Series on the streets of Toronto in conjunction with the Honda Indy Toronto, but an incident early in the race would take him out of the contention for the victory. Drissi was able rebound for a fifth-place finish.

The RSR Trans-Am team will be back in action this weekend, competing north of the border as part of the Honda Indy Toronto for Round 6 of the 2010 SCCA Pro Racing Trans-Am Series. New livery will grace the #5 Jaguar XKR driven by Tomy Drissi as he searches for his second victory of the season.

The RSR Trans-Am squad returns to form at Lime Rock Park as Tomy Drissi recorded his third podium result in the first half of the 2010 SCCA Pro Racing Trans-Am Series.

Entering the mid-point of the 2010 SCCA Pro Racing Trans-Am Series, RSR puts on a serious game face with the goal to return to the podium this weekend at Lime Rock Park and run strong for the remainder of the season in hopes to have Tomy Drissi re-crowned as the Trans-Am Champion.

Despite the fact that Tomy Drissi was running third and that Daniel Ramoutarsingh charged to obtain ten positions during the race, ill-fated mechanical issues on the final lap led to double DNF’s for RSR Racing at Road America during Round 4 of the 2010 SCCA Pro Racing Trans-Am Series this past weekend.

It has been five years since Paul Gentilozzi’s Trans-Am squad has won at Road America with a close call last year with rookie Daniel Ramoutarsingh taking second place. The team runs on the foundation established by RSR owner and six-time Trans-Am Champion Gentilozzi, which includes 48 team starts in 18 years of competition at the Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin race circuit; four poles, five wins and 18 podiums. This year the RSR team returns with Ramoutarsingh and Trans-Am veteran Tomy Drissi looking to reclaim the crown at one of the most famous permanent road courses in the United States.

RSR had both Jaguar XKR Trans-Am cars take the green and checkered flag in the inaugural SCCA Pro Racing Trans-Am Series race at Miller Motorsports Park this past Sunday. Tomy Drissi returned to the podium finishing second, while teammate Daniel Ramoutarsingh put up a tough fight finishing sixth.

A new challenge is on for RSR Trans-Am drivers Tomy Drissi and Daniel Ramoutarsingh as they head to Miller Motorsports Park this weekend for Round 3 of the 2010 SCCA Pro Racing Trans-Am Series. The Trans-Am Series will make its first appearance at the track in Tooele, Utah to headline this weekend's event. Drissi and Ramoutarsingh hope to retaliate after unsatisfactory results in Round 2.

It was a double disappointment for the RSR team at Mosport International Raceway today as SCCA Pro Racing Trans-Am drivers Tomy Drissi and Daniel Ramoutarsingh finished with less then ideal results, but the duo still remains in the top four of the 2010 championship points standings.

RSR Hopes to Take the Positive Momentum from Round 1 North of the Border for a Double Trans-Am Podium Finish this Weekend

Fresh off victory in New Jersey, RSR heads north of the border this weekend to Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada for Round 2 of the 2010 SCCA Pro Racing Trans-Am Series at Mosport International Raceway.

The weather is not the only thing heating up as the 2010 SCCA Pro Racing Trans-Am Series is about the start the ignition to kickoff a fiery season battle of sports car competition this weekend in New Jersey. 2009 Trans-Am Champion Tomy Drissi and 2009 Trans-Am Rookie-of-the-Year Daniel Ramoutarsingh return to the series with RSR for a two-car assault.
